Korean???? NOOOO~

Was bored, so I went to YouTube and watched DBSK's Mirotic and Wrong Number, both MV and Dance versions. I also watched Super Junior's Sorry Sorry o.0" Then I watched Hey! Say! JUMP's Your Seed and Mayonaka no Shadow Boy. Then... I watched some of NEWS's old (like super old) MVs and I remembered KAT-TUN. So, I typed in 'KAT-' in the search box and one of the suggestions given was, 'kat-tun rescue' so I watched. OMG Koki looked so scrawny, I was so worried. =/ The harmony was simply amazing, though. And Nakamaru's beatboxing was superb. And then I moved on to SHINee's Ring Ding Dong. and then SNSD's Gee and OH! The highlighted songs are simply hypnotising/addictive in a way. Apparently, before I realised it, I've downloaded all the highlighted songs. Bleah. Shila laughed at the fact that I'm listening to Korean songs. It was all her fault for getting me hooked on the pretty 24/22-year-olds from DBSK. Pfft. And now I'm watching all their DVDs, Banjun dramasand short clips. . Bleh. OK that's all :)

First time I see Jiji wearing long pants to school; all this while I've been asleep while he's preparing to go to school. My goodness he actually looks pretty 'abang'-ish. xD Not bad-looking, ehh, bro. xD

Get off my back about my sleeping habits please. You've never bothered before. Why now? Because my lecturer called home? If she didn't, you wouldn't bother, would you? So much about caring about my health and whatnots. You don't bother, seriously. You just don't want her or anyone for that matter to call home. Hahh. Wonder if this was your reaction when HIS teachers called home.. Hrmm.. You ask me when band is going to end. Band is NEVER going to end. Duh. Gawd I'm becoming a band-geek. Goodness help me.

Oh yeah. Talking about band. Hmm. Fantasies on a Theme by Haydn. Wonder if I could have sight-read that piece back in Yr1 when I was still fresh out of AI(GAWD AI BAND KIDS ARE GETTING SO EFFING MUCH EXPOSURE NOW!!! Stupid Heng.). Even if on 2nd clar. Haha. Even for Symphonic Metamorphosis. Back in Yr1, even if Mr. Tan had gone slowly, and I was playing 3rd clar, I highly doubt I could've sight-read. I would've probably stoned throughout the piece. LOL. I guess I should give myself a pat on the back for being able to sight-read abit better now :). I guess that is what happens when you're in a band conducted by an SAF Band music director. =/ And that is what happens when you're forced to depend on noone but yourself. Even when asked, the seniors say, "Just practice" -.-' great help yeah. Ahha. But really. It did help. :) Almost every practice during the holidays I'm forced to sight-read. And I didn't have anyone to depend on; the yr3s have graduated and Fauzi was busy with Ambs. I don't think I should even mention him. :) Moreover, having juniors who are lazy and push all the 1st stand to the seniors didn't really help -.- Reminds me of me. xDD Ahh well. A good experience I shall not forget. :) Big thanks to Mr. Tan, and my seniors. =)

The best way for me to learn is the hard way. Leave me be and I shall learn better. Lead me the way and I shall grow complacent and lazy =) In other words, leave me alone xD not so difficult, is it? :)

p.s. Stupid printer. Stupid human traffic jam. STUPID STUPID stomache. LU~CKY I'm fasting. Cannot curse. Stupid. It better not happen today, of all days. Really. I'll really go into total moodswing. I'll just curse anyone and anything that happens, good or bad. And there's practice later. Stupid. It really better not happen today or I will just skip practice like that. Pfft.

The Unappreciated Member

There was a rule about that.. Oops I did not know. I was not aware. Ahha. Pardon my ignorance for obviously I do not care :) However, how do you know I only do that to that person? How do you know I was trying to strike up a conversation? How do you know I was not merely curious?

I was discussing with Yuuka(Nad)-chan yesterday. Just wondering; why do people have this mindset that I chat up a boy because I like him? Or just because I said he is good-looking, they think I like him? It's so funny how people nowadays think. Hmm. I think my Jiji is not-so-bad-looking. Does that mean I like him? OMG eeww? o.0


Anyway, that is not the purpose of this post. I would like to tell you a story. The title is:
The Unappreciated Member :)

You see. There is this girl. She believes she has done nothing wrong. At least that is what she thinks. Whenever she will be late or she will not be attending, she informed the relevant people. She informed her president, her vice-president, her secretary, her sectionmates, even her instructor. She even gave them her reason.
Almost every practice leading to concert, however, she had to enter practice late and miss warm-ups. She had tons of projects due around the same time, and she had to do settle some admin things for her section and her department. However, when practice starts, she made sure her section is settled down and her department settled. She made sure that her services would no longer be needed for that practice before she proceeded to do her things. She left her group meetings early and she postponed her group conferences late sometimes just to ensure that her job is done first. She sacrificed her dinner for her duties. And if after finishing her duty for that practice she had to leave, she informed her instructor and her president.

However, one fine day(night), someone scolded her because he got complains that she was always attending practices late. To her, he thinks that her problems are of no match to his, and that if he could commit, he didn't know why she could not. She believes that she was wrongfully accused. She knows she was always late for practice, but she thinks he should have investigated before reprimanding her. She didn't think he did. She believes he should have consulted her secretary and find out her reasons before scolding her. She thinks she is not obliged to tell him anything, because he gave her reason to: She once told him, besides the people stated above that she would be late for practice. However, he replied back, saying she did not need to tell him, but tell her secretary instead. Thus, she stopped updating him of her attendance.

So now, I guess she is quite pissed at him (like she is not already before) for his assumptions and accusations. However, she did not reply him and simply walked away, for it was already so late and she did not wish to aggravate the situation any further. Moreover, she was too tired. So I guess she leaves him with his own assumptions and she does not care for his opinions anymore. And if anyone else dislikes her 'attitude', she would like them to ask her secretary for reasons and understand her situation before judging and accusing her. Also, she would like to know what she did wrong and why everyone suddenly is so cold and so accusing towards her.

OK that is all. Compo fail, I know. Writer's block doh. xD OK I guess that's all. I'm off. Battery's going flat =))

concert and 19

Concert's over and I'm officially 19 :)

Concert was.... OK uhh.. I guess.. Heard the recording.. 'twasn't so bad, I think.. the parts I thought were screwed sounded quite OK.. Either that or they didn't detect. =/

My solo.. Ahha.. At first I was so happy, listening to the recording. However, the more I listened, the more disappointed I felt. How I could've done so much better had my nerves not gotten over me. The tone and intonation was better than expected, that I must say(which pretty much says how my tone usually is). The speed.. OMG.. Projection-wise, don't even think about it. Everything was all over the place. Loy was right; I really COULD have gone much louder =/ I guess thinking back, giving it to David wouldn't've been sucha bad idea afterall *shrugs*.

But oh well. It's all over.

I must say, I'm really proud of the clarinetists. They've put in so much hardwork. I just want to apologize for the impossible demands i keep making and for annoying you guys so much. Apologies to dear Mr. Tan for disappointing him so much despite all his efforts to try and improve the section and me(as a soloist). And thank you to all the guest and alumni players for taking time off their busy schedules to help us out. Really appreciate all the efforts.
p.s. No, this was not copy-edit-paste-ed from the section blog or my SMS -.-

Hmm.. What else? Ehh.. Loft. =/ Slept in the same apartment as Edward, Leonard, GaryChew, QiPing, Azri, Melicia, PeiQi, Charissa [did I miss anyone out?]. Slept in the same room as Leonard and Edward *coughs* xD nolaaaa~ I slept in one bed and Leonard and Edward slept in another bed(together). That sparked a hell lot of rumours. wahaha xD After concert, played a little of poker(GaryChew taught) and slept at 5.30am. Uhh.. I guess that's all? Shared a cab home with Chee Hao(OMG I'm eating up his money ))= ), Azri and Tony.

Ehh.. I guess that's all about concert. :)

Humm.. What else? *scrolls up*

Oh yeah. I am 19(and still single. xD). Gosh can't believe I'm 19. =/

Nana and Jiji bought me a chocolate-creamed chocolate cake and chocolate fudge icing topped with chocolate slices and strawberry and blueberry fruits. wahahaha. LOVES! =D They bought me coloured pens, Mama bought me a Parker (ballpoint?) pen and Baba bought me a(an?) notebook(organiser?) ahha. Thank you so much loves.

Christian bought me chocolates(HOW SWEEEET~) which, unfortunately, I could not eat because it contained 'liqueur' T.T and all I could do was sit and watch the others eat it ='(( ahha. But really appreciate the gesture. Thank you so much :)
Shannon was so pissed Christian bought only me chocolates. Haha. She's so funny..

40. If a girl says maybe later to something, she means no. So take the hint and shut up!!(Oops)

41. Girls aren’t impressed with your game playing skills they want your attention not to watch you beat our mates.

42. Girls hate the guys they like talking about other girls in front of them….. especially if the guy knows that the girl likes him and he’s told her he likes her back.

43. Girls hate guys talking about ‘fit’ glamour models when totally ignoring the fact that they are purely made out of silicon.(HAHA!)

If you give me three wishes for my birthday*hinthint*, I would say;

1) "I want a GINORMOUS teddy bear"
2) "I want to work again"
3) "I want a life like Shila's - free like nobody's business"

Ahh. Maybe add on "I want him to talk to me again".

:) Ok that is all.



Oh yes. I've finally done some work for library side(like OMG finally? xD), and I'm so proud of myself. I'm almost done clearing what I need to. Just left with filing the orchestra scores and uhmm.. updating Nazri. Yes, I know I'm depending too much on him. ACK! There's still alot I have yet to learn.

Ahha. I feel like such a loser. I see all the other committee members and I feel so loser-ish. Seems like they've got it all under control; the top 2, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the QMs, the Welfare, even the Stage Managers. It's like they look so calm and composed like everything's settled on their side. And it seems like library work is never-ending. Ahha. Such a lousy librarian, I know. It's never getting settled, yeah. Hahh.

And yes. Even the SLs have got their respective sections under control. It's just that nothing seems to be getting done from clarinet side. *sighs* we used to be one of the more efficient sections ><

I submitted player list and instrumentation list WAY past the due dates and times. I submitted song synopsis super late(I wonder if they have time to edit it =/) Sectionals started WAY too late for everyone's likings and clarinet section player list was only confirmed when they told us to check the player list. And it was only today(yesterday) that I FINALLY organized my cupboards. Ahha awesome much?

Yes, I am a lousy librarian and a lousy (assistant?) section leader. I never get anything done and settled. ><

But yes, finally, I arranged and cleared my cupboards and filed the Ripieno pieces. Just left with orchestra pieces to file. And then, I'm done. I shall then wait for the next pair of librarians to be officially announced before I get them to work. Nyehehe. I really hope they are up to it and are willing. But HEY! They're work is simple enough, OK! I really did quite abit to ensure they don't have to do so much. I'm such a kind soul.. Unlike someone *coughNazricough* xDD But I have something planned for them new kids. xD

Uhh.. I guess that's all.. =)

Oh yes, I forgot. After 9th Jan, I can FINALLY focus 100% on schoolwork. Projects and everything. Like (as Jiji always says,) BOO-YAH! No more distractions for a while. Yohoho! And I can spend my after-school-before-home time in Shila(Baby xD)'s HOUSE!! Happiness! You don't mind, right? You know I know you love me! XOXO! =D Ok. More ~Peach Green Tea with Rainbow Jelly~ and ~Oreo Crush with Pearl~ and ~Double Cheeseburger Meal [upsized]~ coming your way, baby! xD Ala klw tk pn, there's always Causeway Point or Northpoint we can walk around..
