100th aka PnC Camp

yeaa, i know i promised you guys i'd update on my PnC camp for my 100th post. well, here it is.. ^.^

was more of a camp than my sec sch band camp, actually.. at least we have a 3days 2NIGHTs camp.. as in OVERNIGHT.. as in, CAMP in school, SLEEP in SCHOOL.. AND we had games.. night games too..

can you believe it? my band's TIC doesn't want an overnight camp coz she's scared that things might happen and girls might get pregnant the next day(ok, i might be exaggerating a little, but whatever). AND she's a BIOLOGY teacher. the irony this world presents me.. i mean, even choir and CO have overnight camps.. haizz.. and our camp was mostly practice.. actually, the only time i felt that we had a camp was when i was in Sec 1.. at least we had games.. from sec2 onwards, it's just practice from 8-6, with lunch at 12. even then, we had to buy our own lunch.. ok, i admit, that we needed a hell lot of practice. but still.. at least there were band outings.. none of which i was allowed to go.. F*.. well, secondary school life's over. hell's over.. for now..

trust me.. i know secondary school life's supposed to be when you have the greatest experience, meet the greatest friends, find love, ya-dah ya-dah.. but it wasn't so for me.. seriously.. it was total hell.. i mean i met great friends.. yea.. thanks, guys, for making life at least a little better.. but still.. band was hell.. it became the only way for me to collect CCA points from sec3 onwards.. after i kena kick. and *she* went in.. and sec4 was even worse.. i kena sack.. how great is that?! haha.. how funny now that i thought back.. the politics going on in band.. sometimes i wonder why i never quit..

but then again, if i had quit, i probably wouldn't join band again, and i wouldn't have this story to tell.. ^.^

anyway, band camp was superb.. i guess.. haha.. thanks, seniors, for planning the camp and all.. hahaha..

1st Day:

came late.. =P i've SMSed FAUZI, my SL, that i'd be late.. haha. then Azri called, asking why i was late.. i thought Fauzi should've told him already? haish.. anws, supposed to report at 10, i reached at around 10.30.. met hubby at Clementi first.. haha.. he helped me carry my bag and we went to school together.. he said i looked clumsy =.=" anws, reached, and we had to do dorm cleaning.. then lunched. sat with Leonard, Danial, Rizuan, Wei Xing and Fathiah.. i think.. haha.. food wasn't bad..



had sectionals till 4, i think.. then played 'pass the message' the messages were at least 10-word long.. and it got mixed up somewhere in the middle.. we were separated into two groups.. and ermm.. we had to compete with the other group..in the end, no matter how twisted their messages had become at the end, the other group still won.. sheesh.. hahaha..

ouhh.. did i mention? after the lunch, i think.. i was playing around with my hubby.. i hit him in the stomach(gosh, his stomach was HARD, i tell you.. Diaz.. learn from him! xD) and he hit me back!! wth?! anws, we kept 'hitting' each other. and our VP saw.. he was like, "make sure tonight is strictly PG, arh.." hee *peace* Fathiah and Wei Xing, i think, said that the camp was our 'honeymoon'.. and that Monday was our 'first night' wth? hahaha.. seriously.. wth larh..

anws, after the game, we had dinner, and combined practice.. after combined practice, there was Ensemble practice. hmm.. ouhh.. btw.. we were planning a so-called surprise for our seniors.. and SOMEHOW Azri found out.. *smacks head* so he asked us to discuss with him and Joshua about any surprise we were doing.. hahhaa.. hmm.. after ensemb pract, showered, and slept..

2nd Day:

woke at 6.45. showered, and got ready for my FP.. haha.. had FP make-up that day.. coz one of my FP days fell on Labour Day.. so had to do make-up.. anws, did make-up on Tuesday because i wanted to pon band hehh.. shh.. but i forgot it was camp.. T_T sianz.. yarh.. so had to go back and forth..
but lucky, arh.. coz can go meet the pumpkins and Xian Hua and sell the tix to them.. met the pumpkins at NP Sakura, i think.. hung out with them at Popular =.=.. ATTEMPTED to play Taboo. hahaha..
then went off to meet 'maid' at Clementi before rushing back to camp.. hahaha..
ouhh.. did i mention, i wore a skirt that day.. hahaha. Wei Xing, i think, was shocked.. asked me why i wore so formal.. haha.. =p Joshua said i looked like i was going to Church.. haha.. Elisse said the dress was nice.. thanks! *curtsies*

ermm.. reached camp at 4, i think.. joined them for their last hour of combined practice, and had free-and-easy dinner.. wanted to dine with my sectionmates, but Fauzi said they had some committee stuffs to settle.. so yeaa.. ended up dining with David and Charissa at Alumni Clubhouse.. met the trombone section and sat with them there.. hmm.. food was nice, i guess.. i ordered the same thing Wei Xing ordered, but he complained that i had more.. lol.. hmm..

after that, watched movie, Ju-on.. i seriously don't understand the story.. like seriously.. i don't get the storyline.. but i know it was a little disgusting.. very bloody.. i kept leaning on hubby when he came in after his sectionals with his tutor.. haha.. sorry!

anws, after the movie, came the night-games.. we were randomly split into six groups.. i was so sianzed to be in the same group as Christian.. haha.. even Wei Xing agreed.. lol.. =P wonder if he reads my blog.. anws, my group leader was CC(Chiang Chin).. wanted Leonard to change with Christian.. but ohh wells.. haha.. in the end, we won first.. thanks to the charismatic CC.. haha ^.^ anws, the night games was a llittle disappointing, though.. i was half-expecting it to be scary whatsoever since they had it right after the scary movie thing.. and it's at night.. turns out that we just had to run around the school.. -.-" ohh wells.. if i were to be a part of the organizing team, i'd make it scary.. that's what Fathiah and i were discussing about.. hahaha.. =p but i'd rather be a participant, anws, ^.^

hmm.. every group won something.. food.. all won snacks.. just that our group had 2 plastics compared to others because we were first.. ^_^ ahhaha..

and hubby was being a sicko that night.. won't tell you unless you ask me in person.. haha.. sicko!! hmm.. pigged(as Elisse would say) from 3 to 8..

ouhh.. before that, i had chest pains and could hardly breathe in deep.. but Elisse, Azri, Fauzi, Nazri, Joshua, and some others i've forgotten were so concerned, and asked me if i was ok.. they really took care of me.. i'm really touched.. really.. seriously.. no sarcasm there.. i'm seriously touched.. noone's ever done anything like that before.. thanks a lot, guys.. =) hmm.. even Latiff asked if i was ok.. haha.. thanks! i'm superb because of all your concerns ^.^
hmm.. after the 'drama', went to the clubhouse to watch clips of Whose Line Is It Anyway? with Elisse, Zameer, and others, using Fauzi's laptop(yes, pumpkins, again, his name.. haha) then ate..
Sohaila bought doughnuts for the trumpet section.. haha.. sweet can? hmm.. anws, there were two doughnuts left and Azri gave us.. yayness.. haha.. shared one with Mitchell and Elisse got one whole, i think.. hmm..
and THEN i tido mati(as Fathiah put it)-slash-meninggal(as Hazmi so nicely put it -.-).. coz in the morning, the Daiko Division of the Japanese Tsubasa Club had their practise and they were awoken by it.. but i just slept the whole way.. haha =P sorry lorh! tired hor! ^.^

hmm..

last day:

woke up at 8, showered, ate some biscuits in the dorm, woke the others at around 9.45, booked library room for Thursday, to discuss our 'surprise' for the seniors.. haha.. and ermm.. cleaned dorm.. ensemble practice till lunch time, and ermm.. lunched, and had combined practice.. haha.. then break camp..

had dinner with Fathiah and Adib Danial, talked crap, about Danial being a lazy and pampered kid.. Fathiah and i were going all Early Childhood.. lack of gratification, etc.. haha.. =P.. she was complaining about how he can't even play the triangle.. haha.. so weird.. and to even think that he has been a percussionist for the past 4 years.. hahahah. anws, when we were about to move off, Hazmi, Latiff, Yi Yang and another person(oops, sorry) came.. Hazmi sat with us for a while, and crapped.. hahaha.. damn farnie, larh that guy.. complained to Fathiah that i said his Malay was weird LOL! seriously lorh.. his Malay is weird.. haha =P anws, while we were talking, Latiff came to our place. he said he called me minah, but Fathiah terase.. i was like, "huhh? you got call me, mehh? i nvr hear" hahaha.. sorry.. i a little pekak.. haha. :P anws, Yi Yang also came by, 'looked' for something on my table, and left.. hahaha.. weirdo.. and now, both Latiff and Yi Yang call me minah.. -.-

ouhh yarh!! i totally forgot that Fathiah and i gave Latiff a new nickname!! hahaha.. =p hrmm.. and then, we went off..

on Thursday, we(Leonard, Cruyff, Fathiah, Wei Xing, Rizuan and Elisse) discussed what to play for the surprise, and Fathiah and i did the video.. but i had to change some stuffs..(sorry, Fathiah!!) because the video was too short.. in the end, Leonard wanted the song to be as long as the original(it was One Moment in Time by Whitney Houston, btw)and he wants the video to be as long as the song.. our originaly video was 2:50 exactly.. but i have to extend it to 4mins ++ haish.. i tell you, i slept at 3 the day before concert, siaa.. haha.. but Leonard's even worse.. i doubt he even slept, trying to rearrange the song.. in the end, though, we didn't play the song.. we just edited the song into the video.. hahaha.. haish.. ohh wells.. ohh.. btw.. i can't view the video anymore.. =( SAD!! idk what happened, larhh! sheesh! haish.. anws, that's all for camp and pre PnC ^.^ toodles! ouhh.. btw, i went late for Saturday's rehearsal.. hehh.. :P and Sunday's.. oops..
