it's currently 2:59 am, 1st January 2008, Tuesday.

this is my first post for the year 2008.

let's just start of with how the family somewhat ended the year 2007 ..... as a family..



date: 30th December 2007



mama woke me up at around 7.30 am and we all siap. we went out at around 8++ and baba drove us to Harbourfront where we had breakfast. then we went around the Harbourfront area there to try catch a Ferry(i think) but there were none. so, mama decided to go with the package. there were 4 different packages.. ya-dah ya-dah..

first up, CABLE CAR!! Cable car was super fun.. Nana kept shaking and Mama kept holding on to Baba's hand.. and Baba and Abang kept shaking the cable car. it was super cool and it's open-air.. not air-conditioned. Abang said we were lucky we didn't get the glass-themed car. the glass one is all glass at the floor(of the car) kowaii nee~

next, 4D Magix.. uber awesome. it's somewhat like 3D theatre, except that we get the chance to FEEL and HEAR what the characters feel up close. it was scary.. the story's all about this kid pirate who wants to get back at his ex-captain for abandoning him. so with the help of his monkey friend, he sets up all these traps to bring down his ex-captain's crews one-by-one. :P super hilarious.

then, ermm.. DOLPHIN LAGOON!! we watched the Pink dolphins in action. there was Jumbo, and ermm.. Han(i don't know how to spell), and Sh-something.. and another dolphin whose name starts with an 'L' i think.. they were so cute! do you know that pink dolphins are actually born grey??!! their grey pigment gradually drop off as they grow older, hence turning them pink. so adult pink dolphins are... ermm.. pink.. and these 4 dolphins are still partially grey. so, they're still at their juvenile stages.. cool huhh.. i wanted to touch them.. but mummy didn't want to.. :(

finally, the underwater world. it was.. ermm.. okay.. saw a lot of fishes.. HUGE ones, HUMONGOUS ones, little ones, tiny ones.. ya-dah ya-dah.. sorry.. just didn't find it that interesting.. not as interesting as i'd expected though.. probably because mama was intend on rushing us.. it was super crowded, and Mama went off right after SHE saw the fishes. i didn't exactly see every fish on display.. especially the fossils.. hmm.. oh wellss.. had fun..

seriously.. we had a lot of fun.. and we took a bus back to harbourfront because Mama was too scared to get on the cable car again.

ouhh.. did i mention? we came across a few Japanese people there and Nana was super excited.. sheesh.. she was like, "you heard that? Japanese.." yeaa, sure.. hehh. :P
